Seeking Children’s Program Director

Greensboro Wonder & Wisdom is looking for a Children’s Program Director for after-school and summer enrichment programs for children 6-12. Wonder & Wisdom™ programming honors the whole child utilizing innovative, social/emotional approaches to learning and play. Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Child Development, Education, or related human service field, four years of related program delivery experience, and two years of supervisory experience. 25 hours/week with opportunities to expand to full time with program expansion. Possibilities include mentoring, curriculum development, and/or Teacher Professional Development design. Greensboro is a small, rural town in the Heart of Vermont™. GW&W now Licensed by the State of Vermont!

Greensboro Wonder & Wisdom is now a licensed childcare provider with the State of Vermont. This means that many of our families will qualify for subsidy support from the State. More good news is that starting in January of 2010 the eligibility guidelines for who qualifies for support will be expanded so that most of the families in our community will benefit from this change. For information on how to apply for subsidies, please contact Drex or Diana at: 533-9216 between 12:00 and 5:00 pm (weekdays).

Our next goal is to achieve after-school accreditation so that we can further increase the amount of money in the subsidies that our families receive.
