Needle Felted Creatures with Dana Karazu-Tulp

AC FeltingSaturday, June 24, 2017 – 10:00 – 11:00 AM

Location: The Masonic Hall, Craftsbury Village

Participants are invited to make a small felted gnome, animal, or creature from their own imagination! Ideas have no boundaries in this class. Come and spend a morning creating with wool from a sheep. Children ages 8-12. (Class Fee: $15)


Needle Felted Tapestries with Dana Karuza-Tulp

AC TapestriesSaturday, June 24, 2017 – 12:30 – 2:00 PM

Location: The Masonic Hall, Craftsbury Village

Learn to use different tools for needle felting and create a small tapestry with a diverse palette of wool colors. Participants will be given ideas and inspirations for projects that can be created using a needle felted technique. Tips will be given on composition, color, texture, and material use. Ages 12 to adult. (Class Fee: $30)


Hatha Yoga with Sophia Barsalow

Location: 321 Greenspace, 321 South Craftsbury Road, Craftsbury Village

Breath-centered Hatha Yoga with Sophia Barsalow is accessible to all levels and students of yoga looking to cultivate strength, flexibility, and balance. Through creative yoga sequences and class themes, Sophia’s mindful approach to yoga teaches students to explore informed alignment techniques, cultivate body awareness, and to reveal inner truths and intuitive wisdom Come as you are, be your self, and experience the moving meditation that is Hatha Yoga. (Class Fee: $15)


Watercolor Painting with Susan Sawyer

AC WatercolorSundays, July 9, 16, 23, & 30,  2017 – 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Location: The Craftsbury Town Hall, Craftsbury Village

Summer is the perfect time to slow down, savor the present, and make a record of the garden, the woods, or your vacations. This class will focus on using watercolor paint and pencil and pen drawings both close up and at landscape scale. Participants will use natural objects, flowers, leaves, shells, sticks, mushrooms, berries, etc. for inspiration as well as photographs, or the great outdoors. All levels of experience are welcome. (Class Fee: $100)



Painting with Bill Tulp

Tuesday, August 1 & 8, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Location: The Masonic Hall, Craftsbury Village

Bill Tulp received a degree from East Carolina University in painting and printmaking. He has been a teaching artist for the past few years. Teaching classes at Catamount Arts, Lyndon State College & Becket Schools (in New Hampshire). (Class Fee: $50)


Mosaics with Bill Tulp

Thursday, August 3, 10, & 17, 2017 – 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Location: The Masonic Hall, Craftsbury Village

Participants will have an opportunity to make colorful mosaic designs, choosing from a wide array of colors and hues of stained glass pieces. Learn different techniques of cutting and arranging the stained glass pieces and then glue & grout your final design! After four-weeks go home with a truly unique mosaic, feel free to bring design ideas or create one in class! (Class Fee: $75)
