2017 Summer Camps

Exciting news! Wonder & Wisdom is teaming up with The Art House to provide an incredible new six-week lineup of Summer Journeys Camps!

Our first and last week of camp will combine ages 6 to 13. During the middle four weeks of camp, we offer different camps for ages 6 to 9, and ages 10 to 13. We are also bringing back our popular morning preschool camp at the beginning of the season.

Camps are based in the beautiful Wonder & Wisdom Program Space at the Greensboro United Church, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Camp days include afternoon swim and play time at Caspian Lake beach. Extended care is also available from 8 a.m to 9 a.m to meet the needs of working families. A nutritious lunch and whole food snacks are included in the camp fee.

Financial assistance is available in three forms. As a licensed childcare center, camp fees may qualify for the federal child and dependent care tax credit if children receive care so that parents can work. For families who are eligible for childcare subsidies, the full cost or a portion of the cost for camp is paid for through the subsidy. We also plan to offer camp scholarship assistance to help offset a portion of camp fees for families with financial need.

For 19 years, Summer Journeys Camps have welcomed children from area towns, and children of summer residents. This year's camps will be directed by Ceilidh Galloway-Kane and Anne Hanson. For camp questions, or information on financial assistance and scholarships, please contact Jim Flint at 802.533.9370. Our staff hopes to see your child this summer at camp!
